Subject: Research on forecasted costs and uses of major transportation infrastructure
Your priorities include dealing with and understanding city finances and transit. With these two priorities in mind, I reviewed research by Bent Flyvbjerg that addresses whether transportation infrastructure project perform as promised. His research raises some concerns that you should be aware of as the city moves ahead with implementing transit systems.
