Health Disparities Speech

Last night, the mayor delivered a major speech about racial disparities in health in Kansas City to the UMKC Internal Medicine Society. Citing examples from the KCMO Department of Health's recent report Minority Health Indicators, Mayor Funkhouser will outline the scope of the problem of inequities in our community and talk about the need for a holistic, community-wide approach to address them.
